Rambo Case with Ext. Driver Extention

Rambo Case with Ext. Driver Extention

thingiverse

A compact, enclosed design inspired by Picazsoo's work, engineered to accommodate an external driver board for Prusa MK2s, MK2.5, and MK2.5s printers. Visit https://vmod.wordpress.com/prusa-mk2s-ext-driver-board-v2-3/ for more information. I aimed to keep the design balanced, but it looks like I've gone a bit overboard. Printing with PETG is recommended; my go-to brand is Sunlu, available on Amazon. This enclosed design should reduce airflow towards the print bed, minimizing ABS warping. Required components include: 1 external driver board 4 M3-12mm screws 2 M3-25mm screws 6 M3 Hex Nuts 2 Stepper Motor Drivers (TMC2208 preferred) 1 40x10mm 3-pin 12V fan with case fan screws (Noctua preferred) Edit 06/07/19: * Deepened "EXT. X Y" text for better readability. * Increased hole diameter for 25mm screws to ensure smooth movement. * Fixed female recess pocket to secure the driver mount and cover properly on the Rambo body. Edit 10/16/19: This design has been tested, and it works well, although it's a bit tight. Be prepared for wire management and set your driver voltages before closing things up. I've updated the files with improved tolerances today.
