RAM Tab-Tite Tablet Holder End Cups for iPad with Keyboard Case

I've been using a RAM Tab-Tite tablet mount in my truck for years now, but when I switched to a keyboard case for my iPad I found that it no longer fit in the mount. Thanks to the modular design of the Tab-Tite mount system, I was able to replace the stock end cups with larger, 3D printed ones that allow for the additional thickness of the iPad + case with some room to spare. If you find yourself in the same situation, you can print two copies of end_cup.stl, and swap them with the stock end cups using the original mounting screws.

Print instructions

The particular keyboard case I use - a Logitech Slim Folio - sits at an odd angle when open and collapsed (i.e. sitting flat in 'tablet' mode, not upright in 'laptop' mode), so I added an optional angle adapter (angle_adapter.stl) that fits into the new end cups and keeps the tablet sitting nice and flat when it's in the mount. This adapter is completely optional, and is specific to the particular case I used, so don't print it unless you need it!

I have included a number of photos that should make it fairly easy to determine how everything goes together.

Happy Printing!
