The original piece of historic wall decoration is a system of three main rooms on the ground level in Schloss Neuburg, situated near the river Inn and close to Passau. It features a stylized ram's head as a capital, crafted from terracotta, dating back to approximately 1531. This decorative system follows the tradition of the so-called sala terrena, where the function of these rooms and their decoration serve as an early example of Renaissance-style architecture north of the Alps. The video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXElYnglVf0 showcases this unique feature in detail, providing a closer look at the terracotta capital and its historical significance.
