Lianne Gold, an artist who studied under John Waddell in Arizona, opened Neptina in Venice Beach, California in 1996. Specializing in mid-century design, her passion for glass, particularly 20th Century Italian masters, grew over time. In 2009, Lianne decided to combine her love of glass with her design sense and create her own collection, which was a tribute to the Italian masters who inspired her. This led to a partnership with Ralph Pucci in 2010. Her designs are characterized by their large scale, simplicity, organic forms, and intricate details.
