This model was inspired by Will Pierce's illustration (http://instagram.com/p/iuX8-tLb2v/) and served as an experiment in using the subdivision surface modifier extensively. It evolved from a potential caricature into a 1:24 scale accurate model of an original MX-5 Miata/Roadster bodyshell, which later had race truck elements added, mainly done by eyeballing. The ride height would be around 20 inches! As for the printout, include the body (with support), 4 wheels, two left and right shocks (with or without support), two bumpers (with support), one spare tire, a set of mudflaps, and 13 pins.
