I upgraded my Vertex K8400 with two ED3V6 heads (it's a miracle). On the filament coolers, I installed a 40x40 fan holder found on the website. Using my experience with ventilation from the old heads, I mounted the 40x40 fan horizontally on a duct that attaches to the lower fan support instead of the original one. Check out my other ducts on the original heads. I'm able to print at -10 degrees below the technical specifications for PLA filaments.
