Rakkasan Torii Award
thingiverse
I put together an award for a friend using this design. The pegs at the bottom of the Torii are 3/4 inches in diameter, allowing them to be mounted securely into wood. I also paused the print mid-process to switch filament for the letters, which proved to be a bit of a challenge. After some trial and error, I managed to program a pause into the gcode, but unfortunately my Cr10s pro printer refused to restart after the pause. Further testing is needed to resolve this issue. Feel free to modify it as you see fit! Simply slice off the unwanted text and customize the design to suit your needs. Update: After some additional research, I finally figured out how to successfully change filament mid-print using layer height in Cura. To do so, you'll need to add a post-processing script for the specific layer where you want to switch colors. However, it's worth noting that my Cr10s pro printer doesn't support the "change filament" script, which leaves me with limited options. Fortunately, I was able to find an alternative solution using the "pause at layer height" script, which allows me to resume printing once I've switched filaments - problem solved!
