Rake Tooth
prusaprinters
As the original teeth are braking over time I tried to replace them, beginning with simple straigth bares as shown by https://www.printables.com/de/model/598644-rake-tooth by @Tarh_1195128. But they become loose over time more then the wooden originals. Therefore I made a snap-in connector to it, holding it in place.I made versions for two types of rake (see below).I recommend, not to use PLA, because of its behavior under stress (it creeps away). I prefer ASA. PETG should work, too. For mechanical stregth it should be printed with sufficient material. I use 4 perimeters and 40% infill. Lifetime test is ongoing. The geometry will be different for different rakes. The geometry can be made fit using the Fusion modell. The parameters at the “Modify / Change Parameters”-table are“RakeHoleDiameter” (12 / 10 mm),“RakeHoleLength” (27 / 26 mm) and“RakeToothLength” (95 / 85 mm).The parametric change works somehow but is not well testet. If you need a different geometry, but are not able to change the model, feel free to ask me here. The RakeTooth prints without support. A local brim was made part of the object to ensure bed adhesion at the clip parts with thin bed contact area.
