Raised Workstation

Raised Workstation

# Raised Workstation I do a lot of gunpla modeling and when I'm doing very detailed work, I often find I'm hunched over it. I wanted to raise my workstation a bit so that when I'm doing something where I need to be precise, it's closer to my eyes, and it gives me a good way to steady my hands. The front lip on the top shelf is filleted (rounded) while the rest of the model is chamfered. This is on purpose, so that it's comfortable on the hand. This is a simple model. I've added one with holes for alligator clips, but I ultimately decided I didn't need them. Cutting out unnecessary material would probably be worthwhile and I may do it later especially if I decide I want tool holders or other little additions. This model is parameterized, but not completely. The height, depth, thickness, and width, and the bottom shelf multiplier offset (the % of the way up the leg the bottom shelf is positioned, 0.5 is halfway or 50%). I've set it to 150mm depth, 75mm height, 5mm thickness, 200mm width, and 0.5 bottom shelf offset multiplier in the stl files. The f3d and step files are included so you can tweak to your liking! Print this model so that the front of it (the part that faces you) is UP and the back (which faces away from you and has a raised edge) is face-down on the print surface. No supports needed.
