Raised Kossel mini effector
thingiverse
This is an effector with a mount for the hotend elevated to achieve additional 5 cm of build height. My Sintron Kossel Mini features Chinese E3D clone components; I measured and arbitrarily selected a height for the design, but it's parametric, allowing users to adjust it in the SCAD file. I was inspired by Laurman's Kossel Effector designs, which employed magnetic rods. Since I prefer to use non-magnetic rods, I created a new effector concept. The cooling mechanism relies on taping over varying numbers of holes based on desired airflow patterns. To cool the print and hotend simultaneously, cover all holes with tape and seal the fan to the effector using additional tape. If you opt for this configuration, consider using a silicone sock for your hotend as the air will also cool it. Future upgrades include integrating an inductive sensor mount and potentially adding a layer cooling fan mount.
