This is an add-on designed to lift your E3D hotend above a standard Rostock mount plate instead of suspending it below. It's compatible with the stock E3D fan mount for v5, or you can print a specialized part that keeps both the heatsink and fan firmly attached to the frame. This adjustment provides only a slight increase in clearance beneath the mount plate, just enough for securing joints and mount screws in place. I plan to add this piece once my printer becomes fully functional again. You're encouraged to modify it and enhance its performance!
