Raise3D PTFE Feeder Tube Spanner
thingiverse
One minor issue with the PTFE Feeder Tube on the Raise3D Printer is the swivel-nut on the end fits into a very cramped location which makes it impossible for anyone with above average sized fingers to screw or unscrew by hand. I haven't needed to remove the Feeder Tube often but when I do it is very difficult. My solution was to design and make a simple Box Spanner that fitted perfectly onto the Feeder Tube and could provide the leverage and access needed. I printed this at 100% in-fill to provide maximum strength and it works perfectly. If you over-tighten the Box Spanner it spreads and allows it to slip on the nut with no damage done. You will probably need to use a metal tool the first time in order to loosen the swivel-nut but after that this Box Spanner will be all you need. It is also worth pointing out that this Box Spanner nicely holds the Feeder Tube for you to make insertion alignment and tightening very simple.
