Raise3D Pro2 Heated Bed Securing Screw Cover
prusaprinters
There was several times that the thumbscrews securing the print bed would become locked up after printing…even after cycling the bed temperature through various temperature ranges. I modified the screw cover to provide a little more leverage in case they get locked up again.I tried to nail down the tolerances so that it was a lasting press fit. If it's too loose, a dab of glue will do. If it's too tight, heat the thumb screw first, then press on the cover.I printed with black Prusament ASA using the following default settings in PrusaSlicer.Print settings: 0.20mm QUALITYFilament: Prusament ASAPrinter Settings: MINI+I chose to acetone vapor smooth them for appearances. I'm sure PLA or PETG would do the trick as well.
