A clever runout sensor mount was discovered here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2928920. Unfortunately, it had one major flaw - it was installed backwards. Raise3d's unique design for their runout sensors switches them from left to right, a counterintuitive move that required this correction. The engineers at Raise3d could improve the orifice design for the runout sensor, which still causes significant drag even with the modifications suggested in online forums.
