Raise3D N2 extruder spacer
thingiverse
I'm having issues with air printing on my Raise3D N2 right extruder, which is set up in dual mode. Initially, I loosened the screws holding the acrylic panel at the front of the extruder, but that didn't resolve the issue. So, I scanned and replicated the panel's design, then laser cut two copies out of heavy-duty paper to create this custom spacer. Fortunately, it appears to have fixed the problem for now. I might also test a dry lubricant in the channel as an additional precautionary measure. Raise3D is currently working on a v2 extruder that should address this issue and others. The SVG file was exported from Adobe Illustrator, but if you're using CorelDraw or another program, you may need to scale it by a factor of 1.333 for optimal results.
