Raise3D N2 - Active Air Duct v4
thingiverse
Final revision of my Air Duct system combines official Raise3d side air ducts and Thingiverse's design 1355622. Update: switched to single exhaust, as dual exhaust airflow was not efficient. This allowed me to reduce mass on the part and optimize air pathing for better results. Thinking of adding an alternate back that holds a fan to blow air down on the print for use with insulated hotends. A bigger, stronger fan might respond better to speed controls. The sides of my design rely heavily on the critical Raise3d design, which was released for reprinting and incorporated into my design to hold the back part in place. The first version didn't allow the back part to slide down, so this second version allows for better vertical adjustability. Included V3 and V4 side files; V4 is the improved version. The back is designed to fit a 40mm fan. Update: May 17, 2016 - added V3 back to mount blower fan.
