Raise3D - N1 - Support for cover height
thingiverse
The default cover on top of the printer is often too low in height. This can cause issues with the filaments and main cable, leading to friction against the cover. As a result, this can produce noise and potentially even break the second filament if not properly secured. To mitigate these problems, I keep the cover in place while printing with PLA to minimize the noise generated by the machine. By doing so, the overall print quality is improved. A simple solution to this issue is to add additional parts that increase the height of the cover. This ensures that the cable and filaments no longer come into contact with the cover, eliminating the risk of damage and noise production. With a size of 2cm x 2cm x 2cm, these added components effectively resolve the issue at hand.
