Customized board covers for Raise3D N-series printers are designed to fit snugly onto the extruder, minimizing the front section for improved access to wiring. A mounting system has been integrated into this custom design to accommodate a 35mm fan, which blows air directly onto the stepper motor. This fan can be easily plugged into an extra constant 12v plug found on the mini board. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use high-temperature filaments such as nylon, ABS or polycarbonate. Using PLA may result in melting and deformation over time due to its lower temperature resistance.
