Raise3D Fan Mounts
thingiverse
This is a remix consisting of three parts only: left, right, and front fan mounts. The optimal mount position for the cooling fan would be at the back of the extruder, allowing clear visibility of the printing process without obstruction. However, this requires additional components and workarounds. The front mount does not provide a connector to redirect air from the blower to the tip of the extruder, thus preserving the view of the printing process. It is possible to snap this fan duct if desired. Referencing thing 1355622 on Thingiverse highlights the left and right mounts that redirect airflow directly to the heat sink, leaving the front fan solely responsible for cooling the printed parts. The front fan's operation is controlled by the slicer. This remix utilizes stock fans for both left and right mounts alongside a DC 12V 0.15A 2 Terminals Cooling Blower Fan 50mm x 15mm for the front mount.
