Raise3D E2 PEI Build Plate Handle
thingiverse
My new Raise3D E2 printer comes with a BuildTak build plate. I decided to order a reversible PEI build plate (textured/smooth) from AliExpress. This does not include a handle for some reason. A one piece handle would be easy to design and it could be fastened with screws/nut or rivets, but since I like to over engineer everything, I decided to make a handle that would not work but also look cool. I made it out of 100% infill TPU 95A but ABS or PETG would work fine as well. I printed the final version on the textured side of the PEI build plate and ended up with it looking great as well as working great! The two pieces fit closely together but once you make sure the fit is good, you should glue everything. I used SuperGlue with the TPU and it worked great. Happy to supply the SolidWorks source if anyone wants to modify it.
