Raise & Lower Reference

Raise & Lower Reference

thingiverse

This reference plaque helps me remember which direction to turn the Z-Axis lead screw, raising or lowering the gantry, or adjusting the knobs to raise or lower the print bed. It's a useful tool for beginners like myself when trying to adjust heights quickly. Placed on top of the X-Axis roller cover on my Ender 3D printer, it's secured with double-sided tape and can be adapted to other printers if you find an appropriate spot. I printed this plaque in a single color initially, but I've since added a second color for better visibility. In Cura, identify the layer where the text begins and perform a filament change or pause at that height. Edit: A revised version with a circular arrow is now available, which might make it easier to understand. The photo shows the plaque printed in two colors, with a filament change at layer 10. Printed in PLA with a 0.2mm layer height, this reference plaque can be printed without supports, rafts, brims, or skirts if desired. Its final size is 32x32x3mm and takes approximately 15 minutes to print.
