I came across this fan mount and I was impressed by what NickRimmer accomplished. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2149774 So, I combined it with my E3D v6 adapter 35mm fan mount for the Raise3D N-series printers. v2 of cooling duct redesign features a repositioned mount to elevate it up and allow the nozzle part from the original design to be installed. I will also release a 35mm fan mount later for the standard Raise3D hotend. Print settings: .25 mm layers 3 shells 40% infill Required materials: 2 x M3 by 12mm screws 2 x M3 threaded inserts (optional) 2 x 12V DC 50mm Blow Radial Cooling Fan Hotend Extruder For RepRap 3D Printer Update: There is an issue with the filament fan hitting the Z endstop at the front. To fix this, I plan to modify the left filament fan to be centered between the hotends. Also, I found that the V1 side mounts were actually the perfect height, so I will add them back in now. Due to space limitations on the N-series printers in front of the print head carriage, the angled fan won't fit. It hits the front of the housing. To resolve this, I modified the design so the fan stands vertically, and it's mounted to the right side to face outwards. This change allows for the left side mount to be used for an automatic bed leveling sensor attachment. I updated the files to include only the primary parts. However, the work-in-progress files are included in a zip file for those who want to experiment with using them on other printers.
