After losing the original fan mount, I decided to create my own custom version. It is fully functional, but there are some aspects that need improvement. Once I have a new improved version, I will share it with everyone. Upgrade compared to the original piece: - Concentrated air flow is now available - The outlet angle of the airflow has been significantly improved - Increased distance between the fan mount and the extruder for better performance To be improved in future revisions of this version: - Reduce the width of the part for easier handling To be improved in upcoming versions: - Construct the part in three separate pieces that can be assembled, minimizing the need for supports during printing - Implement a universal attachment system allowing it to be mounted on various 3D printers - Design a version with a different type of fan for added flexibility 04/04/2020 I picked up the project again. This is my current plan. v 3.3 The upcoming release will feature: - Upgraded fan duct design - Optimized dimensions for improved performance and efficiency v 3.4 Modular fitting system (anyone can create their own terminal to connect to their extruder)
