Rain Gauge - KNX The rain sensor demands a 12V DC power supply and a direct connection to the KNX bus. KNX telegrams are sent out through the Weinzierl kberry. https://www.weinzierl.de/index.php/de/alles-knx1/knx-module/knx-baos-modul-838 Rainfall is measured with a seesaw. Each time the seesaw is tilted, a reed switch is triggered by magnets at its end. The Raspberry calculates the number of pulses multiplied by the amount of water in the seesaw. In winter, a 12V DC heater is installed to measure rainfall. It is controlled by a PT100 and the Raspberry.
