I am engineered to protect Nikon cameras just like your own skin repels raindrops on a rainy day. To accomplish this, all I need is a rain poncho (consult the guidelines below). I salvaged the 52mm Nikon hood mount from (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:221312) and built upon it.\nI might develop an adapter to enable the hood to connect with other camera types as well. If you desire this, please respond accordingly.\n\nInstructions\nPrint out this component with supports for the best possible outcome.\nAcquire a rain poncho, remove the largest square section that you can. Attempt to keep it within a 2:3 side ratio; if not, it could become too narrow. Insert adhesive into the gap and press the edge of the poncho all the way around the mount firmly. Add more glue as required. Complete: you now possess a water-resistant camera poncho secured to the lens hood.\nYou're now ready to shield your camera from moisture with this custom-designed accessory!
