This is case for the Rainbowduino and its clones, a stand that holds the display slightly inclined. You have full control over how you program your Rainbowduino, as I do with Conway's Game of Life, which I published on GitHub under source code. The diffuser RDCase_diffuser.stl should be printed from white plastic to diffuse light from the LED display. This part was designed by Alx_ffs and is available under a CC-BY-SA 3.0 license. RDCase_bevel.stl is a separate part made for fitting the diffuser into place, meant to be printed with a different material than the diffuser. The bevel can hold the diffuser in place due to friction alone; however, using glue as an alternative is also acceptable. The flat lid RDCase_bevel_lid.stl is designed to screw onto the back of the bevel from behind. RDCase_stand.stl serves as a base, meant to be glued to the bottom part of the bevel with CA glue or other adhesive. I split these parts into two because printing them separately is easier and more efficient. RDCase_stand_lid.stl functions as another flat lid for the base, requiring screws for attachment. The stand is quite large due to aesthetic reasons, providing visual balance to the inclined bevel. Additionally, it can accommodate stuffing some electronics inside like a second Arduino to control the display or a battery. It's also possible to modify the lid with holes for control buttons and so on. In my case, there are only holes for the DC jack in the back and an empty base with just two wires going through. Printer Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Mk2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20 % Notes: Prints very easily from PLA, but may have warping issues with ABS due to its size. Post-Printing The red and yellow parts are attached together using glue. The blue and green parts screw onto them with 3 mm screws.
