Luminocollaris Lanceae, the Rainbow-necked Lancer, dominated Ambulospeculida rosters as an extinct species that once thrived roughly 270-220 million years ago on the remote planet Wallace II. This shoreline predator was remarkably compact, reaching lengths of only 65-80cm and weighing a mere 700g-1kg, with a surprisingly short wingspan of 50-70cm. The Rainbow-necked Lancer primarily fed on small aquatic Dispeculates that inhabited its native surroundings.
