MotivationDespite tightening the shock cord which closes the cuff of my rain pants to the max to anchor them to my boots, they would invariably ride up while I was riding. I have these small D rings on my boots which I leveraged as anchor points.UseThis is how I attached the hook to the shock cord. There's a small loop through which I threaded the end of the shock cord, which is also a loop.I had to wrap the shock cord around my ankle to consume more length & get more tension in the cord:Without tension, it looks like this:2024-04-01was riding with 2 variants: Tough 2000 & Tough 1500Tough 2000 variant broke the other day – probably too brittlePETG or ABS would probably survive better than PLA
