This is a customizable cruft screen for your rain gauge, compatible with various brands like Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2, though its versatility extends to other manufacturers as well. This clever screen serves as an effective barrier, blocking pine needles, twigs, seeds and other debris from obstructing the rain gauge's precision. Instructions Unzip the downloaded package. Locate the RainGaugeScreen folder. Access RainGaugeScreen.scad within OpenSCAD 2015.03 or later versions for a seamless experience. Press F6 to render the design. Export the part as an STL file. Prepare the STL file for slicing. Finally, print out the design. Once printed, place the cruft screen in your rain gauge collection bucket with the prongs facing downwards.
