This is a collector of rainwater designed for any type of barrel. It can be installed to control the maximum water level in your barrel by leveling the top of the inner wall with the desired water level. The output is designed specifically for garden hoses with 13 mm inner diameters, equivalent to 1/2 inch. This design is a remix of a 100 mm version found on Thingiverse project #3759322. However, I was not satisfied with the original top and bottom connections. This collector has 3mm walls for robust construction. The price of this product is approximately two times cheaper than similar items available in hobby markets. I have created a parametric model in Fusion 360, allowing for adjustments to different sizes as needed. Update: After gaining practical experience with the original module, which had a small hose that struggled to collect light rain, I designed an upgraded module compatible with 25mm hoses. Update: On January 4, 2021, I added a design for winter use, which features the same size without a hose adapter for simple replacement.
