rain barrel, tank fitting, adapter plates
prusaprinters

When you add a bulkhead tank fitting to a rain barrel, the smaller ones (e.g. 3/4" to 1") are generally not affected by the curvature of the barrel, but for larger than 1-1/4", the larger the adapter, the more if could become a problem. Bulkhead tank fittings are made for flat, not curved surfaces. For a 55 gallon barrel, the typical inside diameter is 22.5". These adapter plates add a flat surface on both the inside and outside for the bulkhead fitting to sit against. In the pictures, the teal one is the outside, and the gray one is the inside. This is a for a 2" Banjo Corporation fitting, which requires a 3" diameter hole in the barrel, and the plate is 1/2" wider.

As time permits (or as requested via comments), I can add more sizes.

Update 1 (08/10/2019): The original files were 3.00in inside diameter (ID). I added another set of 2.75in ID. 3-inch files have been renamed, but are the same.

Print Settings

Printer:

Lulzbot Taz 6

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.38mm (High Speed)

Infill:

50%

Filament:
Ninja Tek ABS
Any

Category: Outdoor & Garden
