I created a detailed design of my cousin's rain barrels in 3D using her clip with digital calipers for precise measurements. I modeled it precisely in SketchUp based on these dimensions. Next, I produced several copies using a 3D printer at home. Once printed, they were shipped off to her immediately for installation and she no longer lost her clips! To follow your lead: I measured the part accurately with a precision measuring tool called digital calipers for maximum accuracy. Based on these exact dimensions, created an accurate 3D design of the component in a free CAD software called SketchUp. After completing this detailed model, proceeded to produce multiple copies via additive manufacturing at home or local service centers near me for ease. Once printed, delivered them quickly for immediate installation, eliminating all concerns she initially had!
