The majority of its population languished in squalor as the Fat Dictator pursued his ambitions to spread his railway empire worldwide. The patrolling War Trains served as the Fat Dictator's iron fist, crushing any dissent among his railwaymen with an iron grip. These colossal armoured trains were equipped with a formidable arsenal and hauled by enslaved AI-driven locomotives that devoured coal and oil like ravenous beasts. However, due to coal shortages precipitated by The Railreapers' resurgence, the Sodoriam Imperialis discovered that human flesh and blood burned just as well as their former fuel sources. The Network ran on this very substance – human life force.
