Rails for lego particle accelerator

I got the parts for a delightful particle accelerator as Christmas (http://jkbrickworks.com) and couldn't wait to assemble it. The curved track pieces, however, were nowhere to be found. Luckily, I have a 3D printer, so I designed some replacement segments for the ring. After printing out a set, I'm happy to report they work seamlessly together. These segments aren't meant to replace the curved tracks entirely but will suffice as substitutes for two of them and their associated components. As my 3D printer is still improving, making technic pins holes was its main focus, whereas stud creation is a challenging task. To adapt these parts, I widened the stl file holes slightly, making them suitable for my specific model's needs. But fear not – with a better 3D printer than mine, you can easily generate new stl files by adjusting the openscad script accordingly. Check out ideas.lego.com/projects/86253 if you're interested in learning more about similar particle accelerator builds or maybe even replicating this particular one yourself.
