Railroad Ink Complete Insert
thingiverse
I recently got Railroad Ink the complete box and it quite weird as the big box is just a storage solution for the boxes of ALL the other games. The components of each game/expansion sit in its original box and the box sits in the "Complete Collection" box, so setup is a pain for a game that is supposed to have a setup of 60 seconds flat. I did not like other inserts because they either have to much empty space and its a bit unsightly, or they require large build plates. I designed this to fit everything: 4 base games + 9 expansions. Everything fits in the purple "expansions" box. Attention, not all of the player boards will fit in the box along with the insert. 2 of the base games have 6 player boards each, and the other 2 have 4 boards, the expansion box also comes with 4 more (i think) for a total of 24 boards! You dont need that many on you! **How to use:** 1. The "base dice + exp." tray (and its lid) are for the basic dice from the 4 games plus the 2 expansions from each of the base games. 2. The "exp dice" tray (and lid) are for 7 expansions (other 2 expansions are the giant boards and more cards). 3. Next you have the pen box that can fit around 6 pens (i keep the other pens in the other boxes for the base games). 4. On top of the pen box you have the deck box for all of the cards, all promos, all bonus cards, everything. 5. Since the deck box is much smaller than the size of the game box, there is the "guided spacer" that is placed next to the deck box, with its "wings" pointing downwards so that the wings "clamp" in place both the pen and the deck box. 6. With this insert I fit in the purple box the 4 giant boards, the solo board, 1 rulebook (for reference), and like 12-16 player boards depending on how bent they are (pick whichever you like the color of, I personally do not use the ones from the red/blue games so I store those in their original box). **NOTE:** I did not intend to make this print have many details, chamfers, rounded edges or anything of the sort because this is supposed to be a functional print, and I hope it brings smiles to more people with budget printers or those who do not have the time to fiddle and calibrate their printer every time it decides its no longer tuned. **If you want to give me a small tip, you can do so here: paypal.me/RaresDima ** Everything is appreciated as it shows me this was useful enough for you to take some time out of your day for a tip, and that warms my heart.
