Railing Clamp
thingiverse
I'm a Christmas light enthusiast, and that's why I needed something to boost speed when setting up and tearing down lights on my balcony handrail. This clamp fits perfectly onto 40mm railings, making it an essential tool for my holiday decorating process. As a beginner in the world of designing parts, this project was a great starting point. The design is a direct result of using Tinkercad, which I found to be user-friendly and ideal for beginners like me. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 45% Notes: To prevent the part from detaching from the heating bed too frequently, a brim was added to the print settings. Post-Printing: Status: Completed Proof of Concept: Yes Designing This Part: I chose Tinkercad as my design tool because it's easy to navigate, even for someone new to designing parts like me.
