This is a magnetic latch for a railcore assembly, utilizing four high-strength magnets from Home Depot encased in plastic covers to minimize magnetic force. The stationary component holds two magnets and screws securely into the 1515 extrusion. Two additional magnets in printed covers comprise the door pieces. Once the stationary part is mounted at the center of the lower front extrusion, apply double-sided tape to one side of each door piece. With the tape facing forward, attach the door pieces to the stationary component magnetically and close the doors on the latch. The double-sided tape ensures a secure bond between the door piece and the door. A Fusion 360 file is provided for customization or modification using different magnets.
