Side mount filament spool holder designed specifically for the Railcore II 300ZLT. This versatile accessory fits seamlessly into existing holes, allowing for a smooth and hassle-free installation process. The top hole is precisely sized to accommodate an 1/8" NPT tap, enabling users to easily install an NPT tube holder fitting with minimal effort required. Other types of fittings can also be adapted with some creative problem-solving. The three screws that hold the filament spool holder in place are carefully selected for optimal performance. The top two screws feature a 3x20mm button head design, providing a secure grip and effortless installation. In contrast, the bottom screw boasts a 3x16 button head, ensuring a snug fit and reliable operation. For added peace of mind, all three screws can be captured using an M3 nut or, alternatively, a Nylock nut for extra security. This thoughtful design consideration ensures that your filament spool holder remains securely in place, even during the most intense printing sessions. When installing the side mount filament spool holder, users may need to reposition their Z stepper wires slightly to accommodate the new accessory. However, this minor adjustment is a small price to pay for the convenience and benefits offered by this innovative design. A mirrored version of the filament spool holder has been added at the request of users with dual setups in mind. This cleverly designed mirror image can be mounted to the back side of the electronics box, providing an additional mounting option for those who require it. While I did not personally test or verify the dimensions of this mirrored version, I have carefully adjusted the text to ensure seamless integration with the original design.
