This is an upgrade template for adding reinforcements to your Railcore II if you want to add extra support to the bottom of the frame. It allows you to cure any anxiety about potential panel sag over time by adding an extrusion on the opposite side of the motors. This also makes the frame slightly more rigid and adds a small amount of weight, which isn't necessary but does provide some added stability. The original drawings show 3.5mm holes, but this size doesn't work as well. Use a numbered pin gauge to double-check the measurement. Drill extra holes with a 1/8" drill bit. To use the template, move it between the panel mounting holes down each side and make five new holes on each side that are 55mm in from those. Watch a video for guidance: https://youtu.be/i5K7l6evlUU UPDATE 5/23/19 Adding 4mm to the spacing was necessary due to many users needing to adjust their stepper motor position, including the author. To accommodate this, move the support rails over and give them room to move. A drill template has been added for those who have already drilled holes. Use it to make new ones that are 4mm offset from your current ones without having to remove the bottom panel.
