UPDATE: The V3 Spool Holder Now Accommodates Atomic Spools with Ease. If you're planning to use standard spools, however, the V1 remains a better option due to its superior clearance from the bed. This innovative spool holder is designed to fit seamlessly inside the 300ZL on the back panel, allowing for most spool sizes to be used without any clearance issues with the bed. The kit includes the spool holder itself, a precision drill jig for drilling mounting holes, and a filament tube guide. To ensure precise placement, use the provided drill jig to align your desired spool position on the back panel. I've optimized my setup to place the spool 1/4 inch above the bottom frame rail and 1/4 inch inside the right side frame rail, preventing any rubbing issues. Drill out the holes in the jig and printer's back panel using an 1/8-inch drill bit. To maintain straightness, I started by drilling the first hole and securing it with a 3mm screw. Then, I drilled the remaining three holes, inserting screws as I went to keep everything aligned. Next, insert the four M3X10 screws from behind the printer and secure them into the spool holder's threaded M3 design. Finally, install your filament guide on the rear rail, positioning it up against the stepper mount for a seamless integration.
