Railcore 300ZL Customizable Electronics Front Cover With Fan
thingiverse
The weather has been sizzling lately, so I opted to do the right thing and install a fan in the electronics enclosure. This printable front panel accommodates a 40mm fan. To maximize airflow, I recommend configuring it to blow air outwards, which will draw cool air into the bottom of the enclosure. I've uploaded the Fusion 360 file, allowing you to modify the text as desired. There's an inside cover for the fan that prevents cables from coming into contact with the blades. The text is recessed, enabling a dual color effect by swapping filament a few layers in. I discovered that the text bridged just fine. You could also backlight the text using a transparent filament. I printed it with Paramount Matte Black PLA and Prusa Mystic Green for the text on a power-coated bed. The finish is a great match for the kit panels. Also, double-check your fan voltage; most 40mm fans operate at 12V, not 24V.
