Railcore 1515 Segmented LED Light Strip Diffuser
thingiverse
LED diffuser assembly engineered specifically for attachment to the 1515 extrusion of the Railcore II. This assembly is designed for use with 10mm wide LED light strips that can be cut into 100mm segments. The assembly features a dovetail design, allowing users to extend the diffuser assembly as needed by interlocking multiple units together. Each 100mm segment consists of a backer piece, a diffuser cover, and two 1515 clips. To assemble, users simply need to interlock the required number of backer pieces, insert the 1515 clips into the backers, adhere the LED strip to the wide side of the backers, slide the diffuser covers over the backer pieces, and clip the completed assembly into the rail. Once assembled, users can connect the LED strip to an unused heater channel on their Duex. The channels available for use are H3 through H7. To enable PWM control, users need to add the following command to their config.g file, matching the H parameter to the heater channel used: M307 H3 A-1 C-1 D-1 To control the lights, users can send an M42 command to the appropriate PWM channel, specifying a value for the S parameter between 0 and 255. For example, to turn on LEDs at full brightness, users would enter the following command: M42 P3 S255 Users can adjust the S parameter to dim the lights as desired.
