Rail Mount System and Raspberry Pi Mount- Qidi / Flashforge
thingiverse
This is a custom rail-mount system designed for attaching items to the top rear left of the Qidi Tech 1 (FlashForge Creator Pro Clone). The rail is specifically crafted and should easily attach to any STL file you have. Note that the base mount is somewhat longer than required, but can be quickly trimmed down using your preferred STL editor (Tinkercad makes this process extremely easy). I've also included a separate STL file for a remix of Adafruit's Raspberry Pi 3 with 3.5" TFT screen case. When printing with the mount attached, I experienced difficulties and decided to split them into two parts before welding them together using my 3D pen. Print Settings: Printer: Qidi Tech 1 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: To print the mount successfully, attach it upside down with supports underneath the press-fit corner connector. The rail needs to be attached to another model, so printing conditions will depend on how your other model prints best. For optimal results, your tolerances should be reasonably precise for the rail mount, especially on the bottom layer. However, you can always sand it if necessary.
