Rail Gun Prop v 1.0
thingiverse
I designed this massive gun entirely from scratch in Tinkercad, requiring no supports whatsoever. For my first print, I opted for 20% infill, with two outer layers and three top and bottom layers, utilizing a .2mm height and .4 nozzle setting. As I continue to refine my printing techniques, I do plan to modify these settings, but for now, I wanted to document my initial attempt at bringing this massive gun to life. The files are remarkably compact, allowing me to scale them up in S3D by an astonishing 466% - the tallest section now stands proudly over 10 inches tall. This print is going to be a real showstopper! For now, I'm simply gluing each flat surface together, but I may revisit and reconfigure how it assembles in the future.
