Rail-Fixing Hanging Hook
thingiverse
To hang an upside-down planter in the conservatory, I designed a hook that fits over a 16mm rod. The lower slot is slightly smaller to ensure a secure fit. There are two small hooked ends for attaching cord. Initially, I parameterized the design but later resorted to hard-coded magic numbers. When adjusting parameters, other numbers may need tweaking for correct shape. I printed it with a thick shell and 20% infill for strength, but a previous version with thinner shell and 10% infill also proved sufficient.
