I often find myself printing out Lithohane images and struggling to decide how to display them. To solve this problem, I created a frame for the one picture I print most frequently. The dimensions of the image should be 200x133mm. The image is inserted from behind, and if it's slightly larger, it fits snugly in the frame. In my example here, I applied a small drop of hot glue to each corner to secure it and allow for easy removal and replacement if needed. The middle groove will have an LED strip embedded, using separate adhesive and not just the tape on the back of the LEDs. This usually doesn't hold well otherwise. The frame was designed for 9V power, which comes from a 9V battery in the back, allowing it to be placed anywhere in the room. However, the brightness isn't as great and only works well in dark rooms. As a 12V version, you can print the frame thinner, and I connected the LEDs directly to a 12V power supply. This looks good even on sunny days. The groove for the LED strip is already wide enough to accommodate potential RGB upgrades. I use the following materials for my frame: PLA Carbon (currently unavailable) from http://www.f3d.eu, PLA White from http://goedis.de (use the code ChaosCrew for a discount), LED Strip with power supply: https://amzn.to/2SGK2hm (affiliate link), 9V battery cable: https://amzn.to/2F6aEQM (affiliate link), and 4-pin LED cable: https://amzn.to/2F5f5v8 (affiliate link).
