Rafi â A Stereolithography Printer with RepRap Printed Parts

The major upgrade this design brings is the use of PLA printed parts instead of aluminum components found in the original design. In the process, I attempted to refine various aspects of the design. However, there are still numerous improvements waiting to be made. Specifically, I'm currently working on a solution to stabilize the iris across different opening diameters. Similar to the original design, plywood has been utilized for the case, and the same electronics have been employed (though I've had better results with Nema motors and Pololu-based stepper drivers). All necessary parts can be sourced from GitHub: https://github.com/eranr/rafi Instructions are available on the GitHub repo wiki: https://github.com/eranr/rafi/wiki As a precaution, please exercise caution when handling the laser. Operating the printer in a highly ventilated room is crucial, as the resin's fumes can be hazardous to inhale. I'd appreciate any suggestions for home-friendly materials that could potentially replace this industrial-grade resin.
