cgstudio
This is a detailed model of the Rafael Python 5 Air to Air Missile System. The missile system is a short-range air-to-air missile developed by the RAFAEL Armament Development Authority, an Israeli arms manufacturer. High-resolution textures are included in this model for realistic visual representation. The Rafael Python 5 was first announced at the 2003 Paris Air Show as a new variant of the existing Python 4 missile system. Although it retains the same airframe, rocket motor, proximity fuze, and warhead as its predecessor, the guidance system has been significantly updated. This upgrade is expected to bring improved performance capabilities to the Israeli Air Force when the missile system enters service in 2005. The Rafael Python 5 will be used on board the F-15I Ra'am and the F-16I Sufa fighter jets.
