Raduino brace for uBitx tranceiver
thingiverse
I've got several uBitx radios that I love using on my desk quite often. Recently, I wanted to design a case that would be more portable than what I'm currently using. I've been designing around the Hammond 1402DV enclosure and it's a really solid compact cast that fits the uBitx radio perfectly. One thing about the uBitx design is that the main controller, the "Raduino", isn't really held in place by anything other than the .01-spaced pins that connect it to the main radio pcb. This is less than ideal for a portable radio. My first attempt at securing this board in place is with this bracket. I designed this brace specifically for my application. I use a Nextion touch screen and haven't tested it with a standard character LCD attached yet. The fit isn't 100% perfect, but it's close enough to work. If you have any specific requests, let me know.
