This is a spacer to slide under the screw adjustment for spring tension. There was no more room to make it tighter, the screw was turned all the way and it still felt too soft for my liking. Adding this spacer give you the ability to make it much tighter with the original springs. Depending on your printer tolerance, you might have to trim a little or make it slightly smaller. Dont force it in, you will have a hard time getting back out if you need to. Just trim it a little instead.
